On March 23, 2026, an EMBA delegation of more than 50 members from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, visited the School of Economics and Management (SEM) at Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU) for a several-day program featuring academic exchanges, thematic seminars, and corporate site visits. Composed of corporate executives, senior managers, and entrepreneurs from Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Saudi Arabia, and other countries, the delegation held in-depth discussions with BJTU SEM faculty on intelligent transportation, smart cities, and global business governance, building a practical and efficient bridge for Sino‑Italian cooperation in higher business education and cross-border corporate management practice.

Vice Dean Zhou Yaodong extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He noted that as a top European university for engineering, technology, and business education, Politecnico di Milano enjoys a global reputation in engineering management, innovative leadership, and sustainable business. With distinctive transportation strengths and triple crown accreditation (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA & BGA), the School of Economics and Management at Beijing Jiaotong University excels in transport economics, logistics management, and information management, and has long been committed to international education and industry-academy integration. This visit will strengthen academic mutual learning between the two universities and further deepen the connection between China‑Europe management education and corporate practice.
