Professor Siew Hong Teoh Hirshleifer is a tenured professor in the Department of Accounting, Paul Merage School of business, University of California, Irvine, USA. She enjoys a high reputation in the field of accounting and finance, especially capital market research. Professor Siew Hong Teoh Hirshleifer now serves as accounting horizons, the accounting review, review of accounting studies, the International Journal of Accounting, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, deputy editor in chief or member of editorial board of review of Pacific base financial markets and policies and other accounting academic journals. He has taught at the University of Michigan, UCLA and Ohio State University. He is an internationally renowned expert in the field of accounting and finance. His pioneering research on earnings management is particularly remarkable.
